Critical IE 8 Zero Day Vulnerability

     There is an Internet Explorer 8 vulnerability that was announced Friday, May 3rd; Microsoft Security Advisory (2847140)  To make the short of it, all versions of Windows running Internet Explorer 8 (and 8 only) are vulnerable.  There, currently, is no official patch, though Microsoft is offering a Microsoft "Fix It" tool to help mitigate this vulnerability as they endeavor to patch yet another critical remote code execution vulnerability.  Turns out, this vulnerability came to light when it was leveraged against users working for the U.S. departments of Labor and Energy.
