Patch Tuesday April 2013
Yet another eventful patch Tuesday for April 2013. There are two critical vulnerabilities this month concerning Internet Explorer and the Remote Desktop Client; both exploitable from getting a user to visit a "specially crafted web site"(i.e. Remote Code Execution). Since both technologies are pervasive across all Windows platforms, you will want to patch as soon as possible; updates for IE go all the way back to version 6.
There are also 7 important updates, some of the most egregious concerns being with the Windows Kernel (Elevation of Privilege) , Active Directory (Denial of Service) , and Sharepoint.
Also, remember that Windows XP support is down to 363 days now. Migration plans should be in "full speed ahead" mode.
