Virtualbox: Change Location of Virtual HD On Appliance Import
Ever needed to change the location of the virtual hard drive file when a previously exported virtual appliance in Virtualbox? Well you can, and it's simple.
1.) Just start the import procedure like you normally would (File --> Import Appliance)
2.) Choose the appliance file you wish to import
3.) Click Continue
4.) When the summary page comes up, it may not look like it, but you CAN edit the location of the virtual hd; just double click and it will let you edit the location
*** Keep in mind, this is not a VDI you are importing. Imported virtual appliances get the vmdk extension
