Microsoft Outlook Hangs / Create a Secondary Mail Profile

I had a user that was having issues with their Microsoft Outlook hanging sporadically, but especially while she was trying to view calendar data.  I have also seen this fix a multitude of other quirks with Microsoft Outlook as the configuration (OST) files can get corrupted or just behave weird.  The end solution was to create a new mail profile for her like so:

Note: You can also use this method just to add a secondary Exchange (or other) e-mail account to your Outlook and have it prompt which you want to load into when you launch Outlook.

1.) Close Outlook and make sure the executable exits cleanly in Taskmgr

***If it Outlook.exe still exists, click on it then choose End Process

2.) Next, goto Start --> Control Panel
***You may want to make sure you are viewing in small or large icon view to find the next item

3.) Click on Mail

4.) Click on Show Profiles

5.) Typical setup is going to look like like this; you will want to click Add

6.) Create a profile name for this new profile

7.) Commence setting up the e-mail account with the pertinent settings; exchange compatible / etc

8.) At this point you are just about done; there are two ways you can proceed
A.) Set Outlook to prompt which profile you want to load
B.) Set Outlook to always use the new profile created

After performing this procedure, all mail/calendar data refreshed and everything worked like a charm.  Also, if they had any archive (PST) files, they will need to be re-opened for the new profile.
