OSX Printer Presets

Ever want a special setup for a printer/copier under OSX to be saved and used as the default under a certain application?  You've come to the right place, my friend.

Simply open the application that you would like to set this up for and follow along:

1.) File --> Print
2.) Select the printer/copier in question
3.) Click "Show Details" if you can't see all the options
4.) Set all the options (paper type, copier codes, finishing options) just the way you would like
5.) Click on the drop down menu next to "Presets"
6.) Choose "Save current settings as Preset...."
7.) Give it a name
8.) print to the selected printer once to initiate the use of that preset as the default for that application


You're done.
